MURDERDOLLS Frontman WEDNESDAY 13 Begins Recording New Solo Album

MURDERDOLLS frontman Wednesday 13 entered a studio in Irvine, California on Friday, May 13 to begin recording his fourth solo album titled "Calling All Corpses".

Currently taking a break from MURDERDOLLS while the band's guitarist Joey Jordison concentrates on his SLIPKNOT duties, Wednesday 13 is laying down 15 new songs for a tentative October release.

Wednesday 13's special remix CD, "Re-animated", was released on May 10.

"Re-animated" features:

* "Gimmie Gimmie Bloodshed" remixed by Koichi Fukuda (STATIC-X)
* "No Rabbit In The Hat" remixed by Ross Smith
* "Put Your Death Mask On" remixed by Koichi Fukuda (STATIC-X)
* "Scream Baby Scream" remixed by Ross Smith
* "All American Massacre" remixed by Ross Smith

The track "Scream Baby Scream" is now available for streaming using the SoundCloud player below.

For the first month of release, Wednesday 13 will take a portion of all sales and donate to the American Red Cross. The American Red Cross is currently supporting and advising the Japanese Red Cross, which continues to assist the government in its response.

Wednesday 13 has scheduled one show this summer Wednesday July, 13 at the world-famous Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, California.

I had been staring at the calendar for awhile and wondering what I was going to do while MURDERDOLLS take a break so Joey [Jordison, MURDERDOLLS guitarist] could focus on SLIPKNOT," Wednesday said. "I noticed that there was one Wednesday the 13th left in the year, and I always get 'Happy Wednesday the 13th' messages from all of the fans throughout the year when it comes around. So it hit me, why not do a Wednesday 13 show on Wednesday the 13th? And, of course, the show would have to be at the Whisky a Go Go, since it's right down the street from home now. I'm looking forward to dusting off the old songs and props for what will be a very fun night to remember."

This one-off show will feature special, very limited merchandise.
